I have lived in Greenville South Carolina for 20 years.  I have seen the area grow, the downtown develop into a great showcase, businesses move in and the selection for shopping and restaurants has exploded.

My wife and I are currently in  Las Vegas celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Las Vegas has many wonderful features but driving around off the strip makes me so thankful for the beauty of Greenville. So many of my relocation clients will rave about how green and beautiful our and landscape is. I guess I sometimes take it for granted but I know I don't want to live anywhere else.

The Summer months are once again the busiest time for real estate in the Greenville South Carolina Real Estate market.  Many families use this time to get relocated and settled in prior to school starting which will be August 20th for Greenville County Schools.

Through the end of June, there have been 4,466 single family homes sold in the Greenville market with an average price of $184,925.  On average these homes stayed on the market for 85 days from listing date to contract date.

There are 5,451 single family homes currently for sale with an average price of $261,998.  Of these homes, 1,420 are new/never lived in homes.  Simpsonville continues to have the largest number of these new homes followed by Greer.
