Hogan Properties has announced they will be developing The Edge at North Main condominiums near downtown Greenville at the corner of Croft and North Main.  The planned 50 units will be priced starting at $250,00.  Square footage will range from 1,150 to 1,800 square feet.  The first units are projected to be completed by January 2008 and the site encompasses 6 acres.

The location and proximity to downtown Greenville is a huge draw for this development.  In addition, residents will have direct access the the North Main Rotary Park.

One of the first questions relocation clients will ask is how long does it take to get places in Greenville South Carolina.  I have always told them that Greenville is a 20 minute town. What I am referring to is that since downtown Greenville is virtually in the center of Greenville County, you get there from anywhere in the county in 20 minutes are less.

Can you find your new Greenville South Carolina home using the Internet?  The answer is definitely yes. Over 80% of today's home buyers will use the Internet during their home search.  The vast majority of my clients come from my web site so I thought I would share some of the knowledge I have gained from working with home buyers just like you.

Newly released numbers from the Greenville County Codes Enforcement Department show that through July there have been 1,671 permits issued for new single-family homes in the Greenville SC area.  While this represents a 6% drop from the same period in 2006, the area is still outperforming the national numbers. 

Nationwide residential construction in July fell to the lowest level in more than a decade.  In the Greenville County area Simpsonville and Greer continue to have the largest number of new homes available.  These homes range in price from $100,000 to over $2,000,000.
