The Greenville SC real estate market continues to fair better than the majority of the country. Yes, the number of homes sold continues to be below the same time period in 2007. However, the average sold price for 2008 is up 3% over 2007 and stands at $189,530. 

Days on market for homes in our area is currently averaging 97 days which is only slightly more than last year. There are currently 6,047 single family homes for sale, according to information from the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, with 1,397 of these being new/never lived in homes.

There is excellent inventory of homes available in all price classes and areas in and around Greenville. Please let me know your relocation plans and how I can assist you.

I have just added a brand new mapping feature to my Greenville, South Carolina home search.  The feature is an integration of Google Street View, and I think you will find it to be very cool and helpful.  Unfortunately, not all homes will have a Street View available, because this is a newer feature provided by Google and they have not covered all areas, yet.  However, its coverage is continually expanding. 

When you perform a home search and select the Property Details view of the home, if the Street View feature is available, you will see a tab marked Street View:

When you click on Street View, you will be able to interact with the map - move up and down the road and take a 360 degree view of the area. You should keep in mind that the Street

Do you have basement homes in the Greenville SC area?

This is a frequent question with many of my relocation clients.  The number of basement homes vary across the United States with many factors contributing to the numbers. The short answer to the question is, yes we do have basement homes in the Greenville area. All of the basements here are "daylight", walkout basements. We do not have any cellar style basements due to our soil composition. The number of basement homes here is limited due to the fact that the lot must fall from the front of the home toward the rear in order to be able to accommodate a walkout basement.
