Visiting an Open House event for a home can be a great way to see and tour a home you are interested in buying. However, there are some open house etiquette tips you can follow to make the process easier for everyone involved.  

Before we begin, one quick tip. There is nothing wrong with getting an EARLY look at an open house. Nobody says that you have to wait until Sunday afternoon to see the home. In fact there are a number of good reasons to see it BEFORE then if you have time. Often in a real estate market that does not have a lot of inventory to look at, seeing a property sooner can let you make an offer and the sellers might just cancel the open house! Every spring in Greenville, there is a weekend where local and regional Visual and Performing arts are featured at Artisphere. It is an Outdoor Festival Held in Downtown Greenville.

With the first month of 2015 now completed it is time to see how we have started off the new year with homes sales in the Greenville SC real estate market. Inventory levels remain low and are about 10% lower than January of 2014. Interest rates remain at historic lows and all signs point towards a strong Spring and Summer for home sales here.
