This weekend, the Greenville Country Museum of Art will be hosting the Antiques, Fine Art and Design Weekend October 17-19. This event will take place at 420 College Street in Greenville at 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. The cost for general admission is $5.
The event will consist of an array of fine art, antique and design exhibits from the Southeast. Special portions of the event will include lectures given by experts, delicious boxed lunches, elegant desserts and Champagne. On Friday, the special guest speaker is designer Richard Keith Langham, who is known for his sophisticated Southern style. The speaker for Saturday is Jennifer Boyles, creator of The Peak of Chic blog. She will also be available to sign copies of her book, In With the Old: Classic Design from A to Z. Each day, visitors will be able to enjoy Antiques & Drinks, which includes a hot cup of coffee or glass of wine along with desserts and cheese as they browse the booths and displays.
