Interest rates remain at historic lows and the homes for sale inventory in Greenville South Carolina remains virtually unchanged compared to July. Year to date home sales are 3% higher than in the same period in 2009. Home buying activity remains slower than normal and is a reflection of the overall national economy.

- There are currently 6,556 single family homes for sale in the Greenville SC real estate market. 915 of these homes are new/never lived in homes.
- During the month of August there were 420 single family homes sold for an average price of $177,481 which reflected a 5.2% discount off the list price average. These homes sold in average of 92 days.
