The Compass of Carolina is a non-profit organization that helps provide direction to children, adults and families through counseling and education. The organization promotes healthy relationships and strives to make its services available to all people who need it. The organization has a long history with roots dating back to 1919. Since then, the organization has evolved and grown into what it is today.
The Compass of Carolina provides a variety of services including counseling for marriage, grief, depression, issues related to violence and intervention, adolescent therapy and more. The Compass of Carolina has strong partnerships with a variety of other important Greenville area organizations including Center for Community Services, United Way of Greenville County, Senior Action, Safe Harbor, Habitat for Humanity and many more. The Compass of Carolina offers services to victims of violence including resources to find help, resources to get out of a potentially dangerous situation and therapy. There are also seminars, workshops and other programs available through the organization.
