1,000 New Jobs Announced
According to The Greenville News, Samsung has just announced they are opening a call
center in Mauldin that could employ up to 1,000 workers. Initially they plan to hire 300 and grow that over the next 5 years. The average wage for these customer service jobs has been announced at $14.40 per hour.
This marks the first entry by a South Korean company into Greenville county. Greenville is already deeply entranced in international businesses located here and look forward to welcoming Samsung when they open the new call center in May.
A big thank you to the Greenville Area Development Corp. for continuing to pursue companies that will have a positive impact on not only the Greenville economy but also the Greenville real estate market.
