Greenville Housing Market Bucks National Trend
This past week USA Today posted an article titled, "Greenville, SC: Location helps ward off housing blues." In the article they state that Greenville was once know as the textile capitol of the world and had the foresight to replace these jobs with industries such as auto manufacturing and aircraft maintenance positions to name a few. They also mention that Greenville is noted for preserving and restoring our famous downtown area and creating beautiful downtown condos.
They state that for the first nine months of 2007, home sales and home prices in the Greater Greenville South Carolina real estate market were up nearly 1%. There is a 7 month inventory homes compared to the national average of 11 months.
