Effective marketing to get homes seen and sold in 2012 has changed quite a bit from just a few years ago. Today's home buyers are more tech savvy than ever and want information in many different formats. Homes of course have been marketed through the Internet for over 10 years. Smartphones and tablets are rapidly catching up with laptop use and especially when buyers are driving through neighborhoods and seeing homes they want instant information about. Sure the street flyer will give them the basics but what about all the details, photos and other data about the home?
I incorporate QR (Quick Response) codes on all my street flyers so buyers can just scan the code with their smartphone or tablet and not only get all the details about the home but can also request a showing while they are still in front of the home. To see a sample scan the QR code below.
