Prepare for a day of food, music, art and more as you join the Greenville community in celebrating cultural diversity! The event will take place this Saturday, August 30, beginning at 3 p.m. at Greenville's McAlister Square. Admission to this exciting event is free!
With so many performances, everyone is sure to have a toe tapping great time at the festival. This year's performances include R&B artist Vega Shaw, The Upstate Poets of SC, Brad Brandt tai-chi demonstrations, a special dance by The Greenville Chinese School, clogging from La Dance Studio of Pickens, Salsa Greenville, Indian Dance, Tim TV and the Secret Cirkus, belly dancing from the Layali Layla Dance Company and so much more. The host will be 8-time South Carolina Music Awards nominee Da Voicebox and the event will be DJ'ed by Kurious George, the South Carolina Music Award Club DJ of the Year award winner. The festival will also feature arts and crafts from Joe Everson, Terry Goddard, Sonya Haggan, Paula Demoss and Dominque Dawkins. Several vendors will be at the festival as well.
