Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County has been an important part of the Greenville community since it was founded back in 1985. The Habitat for Humanity International organization was formed with the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a place to live that offers dignity and safety. In order to help carry out this mission, the organization relies on the generosity of volunteers, donations and partnerships. Construction volunteers help work in a variety of construction projects under the direction of the Quality Assurance Team. Short-term assistance is also needed at the administrative office, as part of the site host team, family selection team and family support team. Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County works closely with a variety of community partners including churches, corporations and other local businesses.
