Public Education Partners of Greenville is a grassroots movement that is working to improve the quality of public education. It is no secret that public education faces many challenges, but Public Education Partners of Greenville believes that the community can make a difference.
Public Education Partners of Greenville's three main goals are reading, teaching and advocating. The organization supports early grade readying and supplies high-poverty schools with books and tools. The organization also provides books for students over the summer. Public Education Partners of Greenville supports local teachers and teaching quality by helping sponsor orientations and networking events for first-year teachers. The organization helps fund practices to strengthen classroom learning as well. The organization also supports local and statewide advocacy through providing parents with the knowledge and information they need to advocate for their own children in public schools.
