On September 29th, The Upcountry Museum opened in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Our region's cultural, economic and social stories will be shown by using manual and touch-screen computer interactives, oral history, artifacts and motion activated exhibition elements. The focus of the museum will be from the early 1700s to the present.

The Time Travel program is being offered for the local schools to take advantage of.  The material covered in this program is based on the South Carolina state social study standards for students in grades 3-5 and 8.

The museum is located in the Heritage Green area of downtown Greenville along with The Children's Museum, Greenville County Art Museum, Bob Jones University satellite art gallery and the Greenville County Main Library.
