2014 will go down as another good year for single family home sales in the Greenville SC market. Home sales were up 7.5% compared to 2013 and the average sold price of homes was up 4%. This growth is coming off a great bounce back in 2013 when sales were up 18% over 2012. The average days on market for 2014 was 84 days compared to 91 days for 2013.

During the month of December, single family home sales were up 17% over December 2013 and the average discount off asking price was 3.5%. There are currently 3,922 single family homes for sale with 835 of these being new/to be built homes.

The outlook for 2015 is continued growth and strength in the Greenville market.
